Metal Shop Building in Canon City, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal shop building in Canon City, Colorado, in early January of 2015.

Now used as a shop, the building is crafted of components from Nucor Building Systems. It stands 24’x36’x10’ and is covered by a strong, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1.5:12 pitch. The metal building has (2) framed openings, one of which is 10’x8’ in size and another that contains a 3070 walk door.

With the varied climate and considerable annual snowfall seen in Canon City and the surrounding areas in mind, the building was constructed with a ground snow load of 40 lbs. and a wind speed of 90 mph.

Located along the Arkansas River in central Colorado’s Fremont County, Canon City is home to the Royal Gorge, and sits about 45 miles from Colorado Springs and 20 miles from Pueblo.
