Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Las Vegas, Nevada in February of 2021.

Durable and built to last, the metal building features an insulation system and is 24’x40’x10’ when raised. Comprised of heavy-duty steel components, the metal building now functions as a shop and has a rugged gable roof providing protection overhead.

The metal shop building has (5) framed door and window openings throughout, which include (2) 3’x2’ windows and (2) 3’x7’ openings enclosing (2) 3070 20-gauge insulated steel walk doors with lever locks. The shop also has (1) 9’x9’ door opening housing (1) 9’x9’ Amarr Series 2432 insulated overhead door with a manual lift.

An insulation package keeps the shop’s energy bills low while helping guard against condensation. In the roof of the building is a 6” layer of R-19 insulation, while the walls contain 4” of R-13 insulation. The insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing attached to one side to protect it against moisture and damage.

A 100-mph wind speed rating is another building customization; an addition made in consideration of the climate characteristics and building codes in place in Las Vegas. Part of Clark County in southern Nevada, the city of Las Vegas sits about a 100-mile drive from Pahrump and about 16 miles northwest of Henderson.
