Metal Building in Kingston, Jamaica

Purchased from Metal Building Outlet in December, 2012, this 45’x80 x16’ metal building is an auto body repair shop. It is serving the more than 937,700 residents of Kingston.

The shop building has R-10 roof and wall insulation and a wind load of 130 miles per hour necessary due to Kingston’s long history with tropical systems. It features two 12’x12’ and two 12’x14 roll coil doors.  It was shipped to the port of Jacksonville, Florida, before making its way south to Kingston.

Kingston, Jamaica’s capital and largest city on the island’s southeastern coast, about 90 miles from Falmouth and 112 miles from Montego Bay.
