Steel Workshop in Kenedy, Texas

Metal Building Outlet secured this preconstructed steel workshop building on behalf of a client in Kenedy, Texas, in early May of 2018.

Functional, easily adaptable and built to last, the building features top-of-the-line steel construction and a finished, fully erect size of 40’x50’x14’. Now operating as a workshop, the building features a broad, clear-span design with plenty of headroom, while a Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, guarding against the elements while protecting the shop against corrosion.

Distributed throughout the pre-engineered steel workshop are (3) framed openings, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening and (2) 12’x12’ openings, and a high, 150-mph wind speed rating serves as a supplemental feature added with regard for the climate considerations of Kenedy and the building code requirements currently in place at the building site. A part of Karnes County in southern Texas, the city of Kenedy sits about 6 miles southwest of Karnes City and about 10 miles outside Runge.
