Metal Building Outlet was the provider of this prefabricated metal building in Kanab, Utah in October of 2019.

Attractive, versatile and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the building stands 50’x60’x17’ in size and has a broad clear span and high overhead clearance, making it suitable for numerous applications. Currently functioning as a shop, the building boasts a striking Desert Sand exterior that draws the eye from the roadway and a complementing Burnished Slate-colored roof with a 3:12 pitch.

In its roof, the shop contains a layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation, while R-10 insulation fills the space between the walls. In addition to lowering the building’s energy expenses, the insulation helps improve sound control while making for a more comfortable year-round environment. The steel workshop also features (5) framed openings throughout, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening and (4) 14’x14’ overhead door openings.

The shop also has a 36-pound snow load and a 101-mph wind speed rating in adherence to local building code requirements. Situated just north of the Arizona-Utah state line, the city of Kanab is part of south-central Utah’s Kane County. A popular shooting location for Hollywood westerns, Kanab sits about 21 miles outside Orderville and about 75 miles outside Page, Arizona.
