Insulated Steel Shop in Ross, North Dakota
A resident of Ross, North Dakota, needed a versatile, energy-efficient metal building to use as a shop and purchased the building kit for it through Metal Building Outlet in September 2023.
The clear-span steel building has a wide-open interior, making it appropriate for work, storage and other use, and it also features high, 22’ ceilings that make the most of available floorspace. High R-value roof and wall insulation make the shop suitable for use during all four seasons in North Dakota while keeping heating and cooling bills low and condensation at bay.
The roof of the steel shop has a multilayer White R-35 Energy Saver insulation system, while the walls of the shop feature an 8” single-layer Energy Saver insulation system. The “Energy Saver” system creates a continuous layer of insulation, enhancing the system’s effectiveness and thermal performance.
