Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of pre-engineered steel buildings in Hays, Kansas, in April of 2021.

Used as shops by a roofing company, the durable, customized industrial buildings offer unmatched strength and durability thanks to high-quality steel construction. Both shops have broad clear spans that maximize usable floor space, with the first metal shop standing 40’x60’x16’ and the second, 20’x60’x16’/12.8”.

Overhead, both industrial buildings boast hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roofs with 2:12 pitches, with the larger building’s roof featuring a gable style and the smaller building’s roof, a single-slope design. The metal buildings also have (6) framed door and window openings distributed between them, which include (2) 10’x14’ overhead door openings and (4) 3070 openings holding (2) 3070 insulated commercial walk doors with lever locks.

Both shops also have 17.5-psf roof snow loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings in adherence to local building code requirements.
