Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Ellijay, Georgia in January of 2021.

Durable, multifunctional and easy to raise, the metal building features top-of-the-line steel construction and stands 50’x70’x20’ once erect. It has high overhead clearance, allowing it to accommodate car lifts and other large equipment, and an open, clear span design that eliminates interior columns or supports.

The steel shop’s gable roof has a 2:12 pitch and is comprised of hardwearing Galvalume steel paneling, and (11) framed door and window openings are additional customizations. Found throughout the metal shop are (5) 4040 window openings, (4) 3070 walk door openings and (2) 12’x14’ overhead door openings.

The shop also has gutters and downspouts installed along the roof, which help prevent condensation and water damage. Other climate-related customizations include a 110-mph wind speed rating and a 7-psf snow load, which enhance durability and keep the metal building compliant with local building codes.

Located in north-central Georgia, the city of Ellijay is part of Gilmer County. The community sits about 24 miles from Chatsworth and about 16 miles from Blue Ridge.
