Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building in Dillwyn, Virginia in late November of 2020.

Durable, easy to erect and resistant to damage caused by extreme weather, pests, sand and other common construction hazards, the building features top-quality steel construction and currently serves as a shop. When raised, the metal building is 40’x80’x16’ in size, featuring high ceilings and a clear span that enhance versatility.

Overhead, a painted, corrosion-resistant steel gable roof with a 1.5:12 pitch provides protection from the elements, and (6) framed door openings grant building users access inside. Found throughout the metal workshop are (3) 12’x14’ overhead door openings, (2) 3070 walk door openings housing (2) 3070 insulated 20-gauge commercial walk doors with lever locks, and (1) 10’x12’ overhead door opening.

Engineered to comply with the building and engineering codes in place in Dillwyn, the steel shop also features a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-psf roof snow load.

Located in central Virginia’s Buckingham County, the town of Dillwyn sits about 2 miles from Farmville and about 40 miles south of Charlottesville.
