Inherently low maintenance and rugged by design, the metal building stands 30’x40’x16’ in size and now serves as a shop. Crafted from high-end steel materials, the structure is covered and protected from above by a hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 4:12 pitch. Inside, the structure features (2) framed openings, which include (1) 12’x14’ opening and (1) 8’x10’ framed opening, and the shop also features a wind speed rating of 110 mph in consideration of the climate and weather patterns characteristic of the area.
An unincorporated community situated within El Dorado County, Pilot Hill is located inland, and in an area once known for its multiple mining camps. The Pilot Hill area lies about 44 miles from the city of Sacramento and sits about 67 miles outside the community of Norden.
