Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in early April of 2016.
Attractive and energy efficient, the building is now used as an auction house. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, it boasts a finished size of 50’x80’x16’ and is covered and protected above by a durable, hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the steel building are a total of (6) framed openings, which include (2) 12’x14’ openings enclosing (2) 12’x14’ Model 2500 roll-coil doors, (2) 10’x10’ openings housing (2) 10’x10’ Model 2500 roll-coil doors and (2) 3070 openings housing (2) 20-gauge knockdown doors with lever locks.
To lower energy costs associated with the building while enhancing overall interior comfort, R-10 metal building insulation is installed in the roof and walls. A wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 10 lbs. serve as additional building features, and the additions were made in consideration of the typical climate and weather patterns of the area.
The third-largest city in Arkansas, Fayetteville is a part of Washington County in the northwestern part of the state. It lies about 11 miles outside Tontitown and about 10 miles outside Springdale.
