Metal Building in Carrizozo, New Mexico

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building base frame for a customer in Carrizozo, New Mexico, in May of 2014.

Now used as a shop, the prefabricated metal building stands 60’x40’x12’, and has a 1:12 roof pitch. Crafted entirely from Nucor Building Systems components, this striking steel building boasts (4) framed openings, among them (1) 10’x10’, (2) 8’x8’ and (1) 3070 walk door.

Additional considerations were made at the time of construction in regards to the climate in and around Carrizozo, and as such, the building was constructed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 5 lbs.

Carrizozo, New Mexico is a small town located within Lincoln County, in Central New Mexico. It lies about 27 miles outside Alto and 90 miles from the City of Roswell.
