This custom steel building was designed for use as a wedding venue for The Carriage House at Park Crest Event Center. Located about 60 miles from Tuscaloosa and about 15 from Gardendale in the heart of Jefferson County, this wedding venue has proven to be an attractive option that is fully customizable.
This Nucor building features custom siding and custom windows and doors, supplied by the owner. The building is a spacious 60’x80’x18’ and features roof upgrades. The roof was upgraded and loads were engineered to midpoint in order to support six dormer upgrades and accommodate the custom studs for the siding. The 8:12 pitch roof was also upgrades to a 24ga standing seam roof panels. In order to meet the demands for the climate, the wind load of this metal building is 90 MPH and there is a snow load of 7 PSF for the roof.
The Carriage House is Park Crest Event Facility’s newest and most luxurious indoor venue. It is located next to The Gardens and combines several architectural features that make it one of a kind. The building best described as country club meets farm house features two levels and 20,000 square feet of event space.
