Metal Shop Building in Aztec, New Mexico

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal shop building in Aztec, New Mexico in December of 2020.

Now functioning as a shop for a steel-erection company, the rugged, insulated metal building is 15’x30’x12’ in size and offers optimal strength and durability. Desert Sand in color with complementing Burnished Slate trim, it blends well with the surrounding landscape, and overhead, it features a single-slope Burnished Slate-colored roof with a 1:12 pitch.

The steel shop has (4) door and window openings throughout, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 20-guage commercial steel insulated walk door and (3) 3030 window openings. It also has an insulation package, with 6” of vinyl-faced insulation installed in the roof and 4” of vinyl-faced insulation installed in the walls. The shop also has 26-gauge white liner panels along the roof and walls, which enhance aesthetics while helping protect the building’s insulation package.

Gutters and downspouts along the low side of the shop help drain water and prevent condensation, while a 35-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating keep the building compliant with appropriate building code requirements.
