Metal Building in Amado, Arizona

Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated metal building in Amado, Arizona in January of 2021.

Now used for agricultural purposes, the insulated, climate-controlled metal grow house features premium-quality steel construction and stands an expansive 150’x200’x14’ once erect. High ceilings make it well-suited for growing and drying plants, and the building’s superior strength and durability help protect products grown, dried or stored inside.

The roof of the metal agricultural building is comprised of corrosion- and damage-resistant Galvalume steel panels and has a mild 2:12 pitch, and (4) framed door openings offer access inside. Distributed throughout the steel grow house are (1) 10’x10’ opening for a roll-up door and (3) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (3) 3070 insulated 20-gauge commercial walk doors with lever locks.

Other building customizations include a partition wall and a high-performance insulation package, with an R-32 Energy Saver insulation system installed in the steel building’s roof and an R-25 Energy Saver system installed in the walls. The metal agricultural building also boasts a wind speed rating of 115-mph and an upgraded roof snow load of 10 pounds in compliance with local building codes.
