Steel Building in Alta, California

Metal Building Outlet supplied this 40’x60’x14’ steel building in Alta, California in March, 2013. This building is used as a storage building and although the owner did not have to pull permits, California Building Code 2010 was used during the design phase. This Placer County building is about 65 miles from Sacramento and 30 miles from Auburn.

This steel storage building has both the roof and walls are burnished slate in color. Painted roofs are an upgrade that the owner selected in the design phase. This steel building has a 4:12 pitched roof. Not only is this building customized as to its general appearance, the floor features a base girt to accommodate flooring to be laid on the interior of the building. It has three doors – two 16’x12’ overhead doors and a 3’x7’ walk door. Rated for wind loads up to 85 MPH and having a ground snow load of 100 PSF, this building is sturdy, practical and attractive.
