Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Afton, Ohio in October of 2020.

Durable and highly customized to meet the buyer’s unique needs, the building now undergoes use as a shop and features an insulated, climate-controlled interior. The metal shop building features a painted Galvalume roof overhead.

The metal workshop has (3) framed openings that allow building users and sunlight inside. The building is equipped with an insulation package that consists of 6″ of insulation installed in the roof and 4″ insulation installed in its walls. While the insulation boosts energy efficiency and lowers heating and cooling bills, it also helps prevent condensation from forming, which can prolong the life of the building. Other accommodations were made that comply with building and engineering codes in place in Afton include a recommended roof snow load and a required wind speed rating.

Part of Clermont County in southwestern Ohio, Afton is an unincorporated community. It sits about 86 miles southwest of Columbus and about 30 miles outside Cincinnati.
