Steel Garage Building in Bailey, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated steel garage building for a customer in Bailey, Colorado, in March of 2018.

Engineered to holds its own amidst the Bailey area’s mountainous, sometimes-harsh climate, the building stands 40’x60’x12’ in size and now serves private usage. Rustic Red in color and comprised of high-end steel components, it offers aesthetic appeal in addition to uncompromising strength and durability.

Protecting the interior of the premanufactured metal building is a hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch. The roof materials are corrosion-resistant, which is imperative given the annual snowfall totals common throughout the region. The steel building also boasts (4) framed openings, which include (2) 3’4”x7’2” openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening and (1) 12’x10 opening.

In consideration of the sometimes-heavy snowfall seen in Bailey, the building features a high, 50-pound snow load, and a 115-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional project characteristic. A small, unincorporated community set within Colorado’s Park County, Bailey sits about 14 miles southwest of Conifer and about 46 miles from Denver.
