Steel Workshop in Agua Dulce, California

Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Agua Dulce, California, in early March of 2018.

Functional, versatile and highly energy efficient, the building now serves as a shop. It stands 24’x40’x16’ in size and delivers considerable curb appeal, thanks to an attractive, Saddle Tan exterior and a complementing Light Stone-colored roof with a 1:12 pitch. Crafted from quality, sustainable steel components, the structure is easily accessible thanks to (5) framed openings ranging in size, among them (2) 3070 openings, (1) 10’x13’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x13’ door, (1) 9’x10’ opening enclosing (1) 9’x10’ door and (4) 4’x4’ framed openings.

Installed in the roof of the shop is R-13 insulation, while R-10 insulation sits within the walls. The insulation package helps keep interior temperatures consistent for shop users while considerably lowering energy bills associated with the building. Additional project characteristics that further enhance durability include a 5-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating.

Situated within Southern California’s Los Angeles County, Agua Dulce sits northeast of Santa Clarita. It sits about 60 miles northwest of Azusa and about 20 miles outside Palmdale.
