Metal Building Outlet supplied this custom prefabricated steel commercial storage building for a client in Conway Springs, Kansas, in December 2024.

Durable, spacious and energy efficient, the commercial storage building offers 20,000 square feet of flexible, unobstructed storage space and features an insulation package that allows for the storage of temperature-sensitive items. The roof contains a 6” layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation with White WMP-VRR+ facing, while the walls house another 4” of R-13 fiberglass insulation with the same facing material on the inward-facing side.

All walls have a Polar White liner panel that helps hold the insulation in place while giving the steel storage building’s interior a clean, finished look and feel, and the structure also draws the eye from the outside thanks to Light Stone-colored walls and complementing Hawaiian Blue trim. The storage building also complies with local wind and snow load requirements and features gutters and downspouts on two sides, which help protect the outside walls and foundation by channeling rain or snow away from the building.

The commercial storage building also has multiple points of entry including a large overhead garage door, making it easy to enter, exit and access items stored inside when the need arises.
