Prefabricated Steel Commercial Building in Tonkawa, Oklahoma

Metal Building Outlet sent the kit for this pre-engineered steel commercial building to Tonkawa, Oklahoma, in November 2024.

Designed to match an existing daycare facility already on the property, this new building has Old Town Gray walls and Cool White trim and offers 5,000 square feet of open, climate-controlled interior space.  The roof and walls both contain Energy Saver insulation systems, with an R-32 fiberglass insulation system in the roof and an R-25 system in the walls.

The insulation package keeps interior temperatures comfortable regardless of outside conditions, and it also makes the structure highly energy efficient, slashing monthly heating and cooling bills and generating substantial energy savings over time. Other notable customizations include Cool Gray gutters and downspouts that prevent water from pooling up on the roof or penetrating the building’s envelope, 4’ overhangs along all walls that create covered outdoor storage areas, and a large 4’x3’ window that lets plenty of natural light inside.
