Metal Building Outlet secured this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Columbia, Missouri in mid-December of 2020.

Durable, spacious and customized to meet the owner’s specific needs and wants, the building features top-of-the-line steel construction and currently serves as a shop. Standing 60’x100’x18’ in size, the building boasts high ceilings, a broad clear span and an attractive, Light Stone-colored exterior with complementing Burnished State trim.

Overhead, the steel shop has a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof, and there are (13) framed door openings that allow building users access inside. The metal shop also has several climate-related customizations that make it well-suited for life in the Midwest. It has gutters and downspouts that divert moisture away during inclement weather, and it also features a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 14-psf roof snow load in accordance with local building code requirements.

Located in central Missouri, the city of Columbia is part of Boone County. The community lies about 120 miles outside St Louis and Kansas City and about 29 miles north of Jefferson City.
