Steel Building in Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Metal Building Outlet supplied this insulated, prefabricated steel building in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

Rugged, eye-catching and exceedingly energy efficient, the building is fern green in color, and it now functions as a shop. Crafted from high-end steel components, it stands 40’x50’x12’ in size, and a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 4:12 pitch protects the inside of the structure from overhead.

It features (2) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x12’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x12’ roll-up door and (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 insulated commercial walk door. Installed in the roof of the shop is high-performance R-30 metal building insulation, while the walls of the building enclose R-19 insulation. The insulation package reduces energy bills considerably while keeping building users comfortable throughout all four variable New England seasons.

A wind speed rating of 90 mph and a high snow load of 65 pounds serve as additional attributes; additions made with respect for the climate patterns common through much of Massachusetts and the sometimes-considerable seasonal snowfall often seen throughout the area. A small, lively town set within western Massachusetts’ Berkshire County, Great Barrington is a popular resort community that borders West Stockbridge, Stockbridge and Lee, among other neighboring communities.

Seekonk lies about 15 miles away from Taunton and 12 miles away from Fall River. Seekonk is located in Bristol County, Massachusetts and has rich history from both Native American tribes and early Colonial Americans.

Steel Building Kit in Shreveport, Louisiana

Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated steel building for a buyer in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Now functioning as a shop, the durable, low-maintenance metal building stands 40’x50’x16’ in size when fully erect. Crafted using high-end steel components, the structure is protected overhead by a robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch. Inside the shop building are (3) framed openings, which include (1) 3070 opening and (2) 14’x14’ openings. In consideration of the humid-subtropical climate of Shreveport and the sometimes-strong storm and tornado activity experienced throughout the region, a snow load of 5 lbs. and a wind speed of 115 mph are included as additional project features.

Louisiana’s third-largest city, Shreveport is a part of Caddo Parish, along the banks of the Red River. The city sits about 37 miles from Mansfield and about 15 miles outside Benton.

Metal Building in Arundel, Maine

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a buyer in Arundel, Maine, in early February of 2016.

Boasting bright white paint, the building stands 60’x220’x14’ and is now used as a shop by Motorland America, a classic car storage facility. Crafted from rugged, hardwearing metal components and covered above by a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch, the low-maintenance building is designed with energy efficiency in mind. Installed in the roof is R-19 insulation, which considerably reduces energy costs while enhancing comfort inside for building users.

Additional building features include (6) framed openings, (2) of which are 14’x10’ and (2) of which contain 3070 walk doors, a wind speed of 96 miles per hour and a snow load of 60 lbs. The latter two inclusions were made with respect to the climate in the area. A small town located within Maine’s York County, Arundel is located about 23 miles from Portland and 5.8 miles from Biddeford.

Steel Building in Convent, Louisiana

This steel warehouse was supplied by Metal Building Outlet in Convent, Louisiana.  The Nucor steel building had dimensions of 50’x120’x16’ and a roof pitch of 1:12.  In addition, this steel building was rated to withstand a wind load of 120mph due to high winds associated with tropical storms in that specific region of Louisiana.

Convent is located approximately 57 miles from New Orleans, LA and 39 miles from Thibodaux, LA.  The roof only structure was a cost-effective option for storing farm equipment.

Steel Building in Mattawan, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this Arch Quonset Hut for storage on Boothby Farms in Mattawan, Michigan. This building was purchased at a used building sale in November of 2011, and the Galvalume-colored building had never been previously erected.

The structure measured 50’x80’x19’ and came equipped with a framed 24’x14’ double sliding door system. Mattawan is located about 15 miles away from Kalamazoo, MI and around 60 miles away from Grand Rapids, MI. This storage structure was an especially cost-effective solution for a storage unit in rural Michigan.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in St. Joe, Indiana, in mid-August of 2016.

Highly energy efficient and low maintenance by design, the building stands 64’x134’x14’ in size and is now used for storage purposes. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the storage building is covered overhead by a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside it are (6) framed openings varying in size, among them (4) 12’x12’ openings, (1) 18’x12’ opening and (1) 8’x8’ opening.

Installed in the walls and roof of the building is high-performance R-19 insulation, an addition that was made to reduce energy bills while also enhancing interior comfort and noise control. A wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included in consideration of the variable climate of the St. Joe area. A small town set within DeKalb County’s Concord Township in Northeastern Indiana, St. Joe sits about 24 miles from Fort Wayne and 14 miles outside Waterloo.
