Metal Building Outlet sourced this premanufactured metal shop building for a customer in Midland, North Carolina, in March of 2019.
Rugged, built to last and impressively energy efficient, the building stands 85’x150’x27’ in size and now serves as a shop. Comprised of reliable, sustainable steel components, the shop offers unparalleled strength and durability, and a heavy-duty roof comprised of Galvalume metal panels sits overhead, boasting a 1:12 roof pitch.
Distributed throughout the metal workshop are (13) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose, among them (4) 16’x16’ openings, (1) 12’x14’ overhead opening enclosing (1) 12’x14’ overhead door, (5) 6’x4’ openings and (3) 3070 walk door openings housing (3) 3070 walk doors.
An insulation package comprised of R-30 roof insulation and R-19 wall insulation serves as an additional customization, enhancing interior comfort for shop users while lowering associated energy bills. The shop also boasts a 90-mph wind speed rating; an inclusion made in compliance with local building codes. Part of North Carolina’s Cabarrus County, the town of Midland sits about halfway between the communities of Charlotte and Oakboro.

Steel Workshop in Templeton, Massachusetts
Metal Building Outlet sourced this premanufactured steel workshop building on behalf of a customer in Templeton, Massachusetts, in March of 2019.
Economical, low-maintenance and multifunctional, the building is currently in use as a shop. Once raised, it stands 24’x30’x10’ in size, and it features an obstruction-free clear-span that maximizes usable space. Comprised of top-of-the-line steel components, the building stands strong in the face of pests, strong winds and the heavy snow that often comes with a New England winter, and a rugged Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, providing reliable protection from the elements.
The steel workshop features (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed door opening, and it also features several customizations made in compliance with local building codes and in consideration of regional climate characteristics. Such accommodations include a high, 65-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
Comprised of four smaller villages, the town of Templeton is a part of Worcester County. The community lies just west of Gardner and just east of Phillipston.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated workshop building on behalf of a customer in Ocala, Florida, in early April of 2019.
Expansive, versatile and exceedingly durable, the building now functions as a workshop, and it stands 100’x100’x18’ in size. Its wide clear-span and high clearance make it an ideal environment for working or storing goods or inventory, while a Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch provides ample protection from the Florida elements from above.
The shop itself is comprised of rugged, premium-quality steel components, and distributed throughout it are (10) framed openings. Included are (5) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (5 3070 walk doors and (5) 14’x14’ overhead openings, each housing one of (5) 14’x14’ overhead doors. A high, 140-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional feature added in consideration of the tropical storm activity common throughout the region as well as the building code requirements in place at the address.
Situated within north-central Florida, the city of Ocala falls within Marion County. The community lies about 55 miles southwest of Palatka and roughly 38 miles south of Gainesville.

Its roof is comprised of heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 pitch, and (6) framed openings enhance accessibility for building users. Included are (1) 3070+ walk door opening, (1) 18’x10’ overhead opening, (2) 10’x10’ openings and (2) 3040 windows.
The building’s premium-quality steel construction helps it maintain its structural integrity in the face of salt, sand, moisture and other Hawaii construction hazards, while a 130-mph wind speed rating further equips it for life in the islands while meeting local building code requirements. Also known as Waimea, Kamuela is a part of Hawaii County, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The community sits about 56 miles northwest of Hilo and about 43 miles outside Kailua-Kona.
