Teaming with Metal Building Outlet, we were able to design a new building that would accommodate a tall standing, state of the art auto shop.

Steel Building in Rockford, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet was the provider of this prefabricated metal building in Rockford, Michigan.

Durable, functional and easy to maintain, the building boasts a finished size of 40’x60’x14’, and it serves dual purposes as a combination shop and storage area. Covering and protecting the interior of the building from above is a hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and the shop and storage building itself is crafted using high-end steel materials.

Inside the structure is (1) 10’x10’ framed opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ roll-coil door, and a snow load of 35 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 90 mph are included as additional project features. The latter two additions were made in consideration of the ample seasonal snowfall that falls in the region and the area’s otherwise highly variable weather patterns. A city situated within Kent County in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, Rockford is located about 42 miles from Muskegon and about 15 miles outside Grand Rapids.

Metal Building in Dodge City, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Dodge City, Kansas, in December of 2019.

Offering supreme versatility, durability and accessibility, the metal building is comprised of rugged, high-end steel parts and currently functions as an automotive shop. Robust and spacious, the shop is 50’x125’x20’ in size and offers high overhead clearance, providing plenty of space for vehicle lifts and related automotive repair and service equipment.

Making the building accessible for employees, customers and vehicles are (3) 12’x12’ overhead door openings, while (4) 4’x4’ windows let natural sunlight inside. Other key features and customizations include a 15-pound snow load and a 90-mph wind speed rating, which keep the shop compliant with applicable building code requirements.

Dodge City, which has a rich history as a lively frontier town, is part of Kansas’ Ford County. It sits about 154 miles west of Wichita and about 36 miles outside Kinsley.
