Metal Building in Oak Ridge North, Texas

Metal Building Outlet supplied these two steel buildings in Oak Ridge North, Texas in December, 2012. These Nucor buildings were purchased by Dish Network to be used as office and warehouse space in Oak Ridge North, about 30 miles from Houston and 40 miles from Huntsville in Southeast Texas.

The buildings are 114’6”x104’6”x10’ in size and features multiple doors and windows.  For both buildings, there are three overhead doors (2)12’x12’ and (1) 8’x10’), five steel walk doors 3’x7’, (1) 6’x7′ glass storefront doors and sixteen windows (14 ) 4’x3’and (2) 3’x3’).

The roofs of these buildings feature a 2:12 pitch and are insulated with a thick blanket of 9” R-30 fiberglass steel building insulation.  The walls are insulated with a money saving and energy efficient 8” R-25 insulation package.
