Insulated Metal Building in Pinedale, Wyoming
Metal Building Outlet supplied this striking steel building for a buyer in Pinedale, Wyoming in August of 2014.
Standing 30’x40’x14’ and topped with a Galvalume roof with a 3:12 roof pitch, the prefabricated metal building is now used as a shop. Constructed from Nucor Building Systems components, the steel building boasts a total of (7) framed openings. These include (1) 10’x12’ opening, (2) 3070 walk doors and (4) 4’x4’ window frames.
Pinedale is located at a high elevation, and as such, experiences a sub-arctic climate and considerable snowfall that trumps national averages. With this in mind, the steel building was designed with R-10 insulation in the roof and walls, as well as a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 40 lbs.
The Town of Pinedale, Wyoming is considered the gateway to the Wind River Mountains, and is a part of Sublette County, in Western Wyoming. It lies about 102 miles from Rock Springs and 77 miles outside Jackson.
