Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Birmingham, Alabama. This SteelMax building was purchased in June, 2013 and is used as an automotive shop for a Jefferson County trucking company. The building is attached to an existing office.
The completed dimensions for this building are: 60’x80’x16’. The exterior walls on the metal shop are an attractive light stone color. The 1:12 pitched roof is galvalume. Due to the location of the building (central Alabama), about 25 miles from Alabaster and Warrior, the wind load upgrades allow this building to stand up to Mother Nature – wind load of 90 MPH and a low snow load of 3.5 PSF.

This shop is 30’x40’x16’ and has a galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. There were several upgrades for this structure including upgrading the door trim to full wrap trim. The customer received base closures and was upgraded to PBR wall panels at no additional charge. The entrance to this building is a 12’x14’ door. It is rated to sustained wind speeds up to 97 MPH. This building is protected with a 25 year warranty.
