Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Rough and Ready, California, in October of 2016.

Polar white in color, the building stands 40’x60’x18’ in size and is covered and protected from above by a matching polar white metal roof with a 4:12 pitch. The rugged, low-maintenance building is crafted from high-end steel components and now serves as a shop, and inside it are (3) framed openings: (2) 14’x14’ openings and (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 20-gauge walk door.

Additional project features include a snow load of 29 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 110 mph, inclusions that were made with respect for the climate and weather patterns commonly experienced throughout Rough and Ready and the surrounding region.

A census-designated place set within northern California’s Nevada County, Rough and Ready is situated about 45 miles from Roseville and about 31 miles from Yuba City.

Metal Building Outlet was pleased to provide this pre-engineered steel building for a buyer in Grove, Oklahoma, in July of 2019.

Attractive, versatile and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the building now functions as a church, and it also serves several other purposes. Offering optimal strength and durability, the steel church stands 60’x100’x12’ in size, and it features a striking, Light Stone-colored exterior and a matching roof that resists corrosion and has a 2:12 pitch.

The steel church has (2) framed openings, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening and (1) 6070 walk door opening, and it also has a layer of R-13 insulation in its roof and walls, which helps the building maintain comfortable temperatures, regardless of time of year. A 125-mph wind speed rating and a 20-pound snow load serve as additional project characteristics included out of respect for local building code requirements and the region’s typical climate patterns.

Attractive, multifunctional and engineered specifically for use in Wisconsin’s variable climate, the building features premium-quality steel construction, resulting in unmatched structural integrity. Undergoing use as a shop, the Charcoal Grey-colored steel building stands 26’x35’x12’ in size and has a wide, clear-span design, which frees up as much usable interior square footage as possible.

The roof of the building has a 3:12 pitch and is comprised of durable, heavy-duty Galvalume panels. The building also features a number of important customizations made in accordance with local building code requirements and with respect for the sometimes-heavy snowfall seen throughout the region, including a high, 60-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

Currently, the rugged, built-to-last metal building functions as a shop for Grant County Mulch, a mulch supplier that serves customers across Petersburg and much of West Virginia. Attractive and accommodating, the building boasts a bold, Rustic Red exterior, and once raised, it stands 55’x100’x20’.

It has a wide clear span, freeing up as much interior floor space as possible, and high overhead clearance, which makes the building particularly versatile. The roof of the metal shop, meanwhile, is Burnished Slate in color with a modest 1:12 pitch, and distributed throughout the shop are (4) framed openings. Featured are (2) 16’x16’ openings and (2) 3070 walk door openings housing (2) 3070 walk doors.

A 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations that make the shop particularly well-suited for life in the region while keeping it in compliance with local building codes. Part of eastern West Virginia’s Grant County, Petersburg underwent incorporation in 1910.
