Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal workshop building for a customer in Houston, Texas, in June of 2019.

Combining rugged durability with supreme functionality, the building features long-lasting, high-end steel construction and a finished size of 60’x60’x18’. In use as a shop, the building has high overhead clearance that makes it particularly versatile, and it also has a wide clear span, which maximizes usable floor space inside.

The steel shop has a hardy, corrosion-resistant Galvalume Plus roof with a 2:12 pitch offering protection from above, and it is also inherently low maintenance, requiring little more than a power wash now and then to maintain its aesthetic appeal. A high, 140-mph wind rating serves as a supplemental customization made in compliance with building code requirements currently in place across Houston.

Located in eastern Texas, the city of Houston is the state’s largest in terms of population. Located near Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Houston is a part of Harris County and sits about 165 miles outside Austin and about 88 miles west of the Texas/Louisiana state line.
