Both low maintenance and exceedingly durable, the Hawaii metal building features eye-catching light stone-colored paint and a matching roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Now used as a shop by the owner, the Garco-brand building stands 30’x50’x14’, and features (3) framed openings. These include (2) 12’x12’ roll-coil doors and (1) 3’x7’ commercial-grade walk door.

Kailua-Kona enjoys a tropical semi-arid climate characterized by hot, humid summers and little precipitation, and with this in mind, the pre-engineered metal building was constructed with a wind speed of 105 mph to ensure maximum durability.

Kailua-Kona is a census-designated place located within Hawaii County on the Big Island of Hawaii. It sits about 77 miles from Hilo and 39 miles outside Waimea.

Now operating as a shop, the metal building boasts an expandable end wall, rigid-frame columns and rafters and a finished size of 40’x80’x14’. It is crafted from premium-grade steel components, and its corrosion-resistant roof overhead has a 2:12 pitch and is made of top-quality Galvalume metal. Inside the building are (15) framed openings that vary broadly in terms of size and function. Included are (3) 12’x12’ openings with (3) 12’x12’ commercial overhead sectional doors, (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 20-guage commercial steel walk door, (3) 5030 access doors and (8) 3’x10’8” light-transmitting translucent skylight panels. With respect for the tropical climate of Kapaau and the surrounding area, a wind speed rating of 120 mph serves as an additional project feature.

A census-designated place set within Hawaii County on Hawaii’s Big Island, Kapaau is situated about 23 miles from Waimea and about 20 miles from Kawaihae.

Overhead, a hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch protects the interior, while R-10 insulation in the building’s roof enhances energy efficiency while ensuring building users stay comfortable in the often hot, humid Florida climate. A high, 150-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional feature; a decision made in consideration of the strong wind and hurricane activity that sometimes comes through Myakka City and the surrounding region.

Attractive and energy efficient, the building stands 40’x60’x17’ in size and boasts bold, charcoal gray paint. A complementing fern green metal roof with a 3:12 pitch covers the interior of the building, which now functions as a shop, from overhead, and (4) framed openings varying by size and purpose serve as additional characteristics. These include (1) 3’x7’ opening, (2) 12’x14’ openings adorned with (2) 12’x14’ overhead doors and (1) 8’x8’ opening equipped with (1) 8’x8’ steel walk door.

To ensure low energy costs and comfort for building users year-round, R-19 insulation sits within the structure’s roof and walls. A high snow load of 50 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 140 mph are additional attributes included with respect for the climate and often-wet weather patterns common throughout the Florissant area.

Insulated to ensure optimal energy efficiency, the ash gray-colored structure stands 50’x60’x21’ in size, and it now serves as a shop. Within its roof, it boasts high-performing, R-32 insulation, while R-19 insulation sits within its walls. The insulation package keeps energy bills low while allowing shop users to maintain comfort, regardless of the temperature or conditions outside.

Overhead, protecting the building against corrosion and the elements, in a rugged Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and distributed throughout the shop are (9) framed openings differing in size. Included are (1) 18’x14’ opening, (1) 14’x14’ opening, (2) 3070 openings, (2) 3040 openings and (5) 5020 openings.
