Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel shop building for a customer in Liberal, Kansas, in early April of 2016.

Made of exceedingly durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal, the building boasts bright polar white trim and is now used as a shop by the owner. The roof, too, is made of rugged, premium-quality Galvalume metal, and it has a 0.5:12 roof pitch. Inside the steel building is (1) 3070 framed opening, which encloses (1) 3070 heavy-duty steel walk door with a lever lock. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included in consideration of the variable temperatures and weather patterns characteristic of the greater Liberal area.

Located within south-central Kansas’ Seward County, the city of Liberal lies about 10 miles southwest of the Cimarron River. It is situated about 82 miles from Dodge City and 67 miles outside Garden City.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building originally for a customer in LaCygne, Kansas in August, 2012. It is located about 65 miles from Fort Scott and 100 miles from Kansas City. The building is used for equipment storage. What makes this building unique is that it ended up being used as a shop in Concord, Arkansas. Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, the attractive and energy-efficient metal building boasts a finished size of 40’x80’x16’. Covering it and protecting the interior is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and inside the building are a total of (8) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (5) 4’x3’ openings and (1) 3070 opening housing (1) 3070 walk door designed for easy building user access. Also included in this project are 4” of Wainscot paneling and gutters and downspouts to help divert water off the roof and away from the building.

To reduce the building’s energy bills while enhancing interior comfort and minimizing outside noise, R-19 metal building insulation is installed in the roof, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included with respect for the climate and weather patterns typically seen in the area. Located within southwestern Iowa’s Pottawattamie County, the city of Crescent lies about 126 miles from Des Moines and about 10 miles outside Council Bluffs.
