Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building for a client in Gainesville, Missouri, in late January of 2018.
Versatile, functional and energy efficient, the building now serves as a shop, and it offers a finished size of 40’x100’x14’. It features top-of-the-line steel construction, while a corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch provides considerable protection from above.
Spacious and largely free from interior obstructions, the metal workshop boasts (3) framed openings differing in size, among them (1) 14’x12’ opening enclosing (1) 14’x12’ door, (1) 20’x12’ opening equipped with (1) 20’x12’ door, and (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door.
An insulation package comprised of R-13 insulation in the workshop’s roof and walls keeps interior temperatures consistent and shop users comfortable year-round, and it also lowers energy bills associated with the property. A 15-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional features added in consideration of the climate characteristics of Gainesville and the surrounding landscape. Set within south-central Missouri’s Ozark County, Gainesville lies about 20 miles northwest of Bakersfield, Missouri, and about nine miles west of Tecumseh.

The owner of this building uses it for personal use as a shop and reports a very high level of satisfaction in ownership. Located about 80 miles from Jackson and about 20 miles from Hattiesburg. The building is made from high quality SteelMax components.
With light stone colored exterior walls and a galvalume roof, this personal shop is attractive, durable and functional. The completed size of the shop is 60’x80’x16’ and the roof has a 1:12 pitch. Flooding the interior with natural light are 17 skylights. To enter the building, one of four doors may be used. There are 3 overhead doors (2) 10’x10’ and (1) 12’x10’) and one 3’x7’ walk door.

Light stone in color and exceedingly durable by design, the building is crafted from top-of-the-line steel components and now serves as a shop. It is covered and protected from above by a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and inside it are (2) 12’x12’ framed openings. Due to the variable climate and the sometimes-considerable snowfall experienced throughout Sauk Rapids and the surrounding region, a wind speed of 90 mph and a high snow load of 50 lbs. serve as additional project features. A part of central Minnesota’s Benton County, the city of Sauk Rapids is a part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area. Commercial Steel Building in Grain Valley, Missouri
Metal Building Outlet supplied this preconstructed commercial steel building in Grain Valley, Missouri.
Desert sand in color and comprised of premium-quality steel components, this energy efficient, easy to maintain metal building stands 75’x110’x19’ in size, and it now serves commercial purposes. A rugged, burnished slate-colored metal roof with a 2:12 roof pitch sits overhead, and (7) framed openings serve as additional features. Included are (2) 12’x12’ openings, (2) 12’x14’ openings and (3) 3070 openings.
To keep energy bills low and building users comfortable throughout all four seasons, the building boasts R-13 insulation in its roof and R-19 insulation within its walls. It also features a snow load of 20 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph, enhancements made with respect for the variable weather and climate patterns associated with the Grain Valley area.
A city situated within western Missouri’s Jackson County, Grain Valley is a part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. It sits about 23 miles outside Kansas City and about 5.5 miles outside Blue Springs.

Steel Agricultural Building in Canby, Minnesota
Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Canby, Minnesota in January, 2014. This building is used as an agricultural building to store large equipment and was purchased to replace a building which was lost in a fire. This metal agricultural equipment storage building is about 150 miles from both Watertown and Minneapolis.
This agricultural building is 80’x120’x20’ and features three entrances, two large overhead doors (for access by large equipment). These doors are 25’x18’ and 20’x18’. Additionally, there is a 3’x7’ walk door.
In order to accommodate the climate of Yellow Medicine County in southwest Minnesota, this building is rated for wind speeds of 90 MPH and has a high snow load rating of 50 PSF. Keeping the climate in mind the owner added high efficiency R-19 single layer of 6” insulation on the walls and under the galvalume roof (2:12 pitch).
Steel Building in Pascagoula, Mississippi
Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Pascagoula being near the coast in Jackson County Mississippi is well known for the hurricane force winds that wreak havoc to structures in the area.
The owner was well aware that no building can be guaranteed to stand during a hurricane he did have some extras added to help combat the strong winds. He had additional girt material added to the building, as well as, high wind doors. The steel components were made by Nucor. This particular building was purchased in September 2010 and has been in use since.
It is generously sized at 40’x75’x12’ and has a pitched roof of 1:12. As mentioned previously, this building has a high wind roll up door. This door is rated to withstand winds up to 150 miles per hour and is 12’x10’ in size.
