Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building for a client in Bend, Oregon, in February of 2018.

Rugged, economical and sustainable, the building, which now functions as a shop, boasts premium-quality steel construction and a striking, Sagebrush Tan exterior. Following a simple erection process, it stands 44’x42’x16’ in size, while a roof comprised of Galvalume metal panels provides protection from above while offering a 4:12 roof pitch.

Enhancing building accessibility are (5) framed openings ranging in size, among them (1) 12’x14’ opening, (1) 12’x12’ opening, (1) 8’x8’ opening, (1) 3’x7’ opening and (1) 4’x4’ opening. A 25-pound snow load and a 120-mph wind speed rating serve as additional accommodations made in consideration of the climate characteristics common in and around Bend. Situated along central Oregon’s Deschutes River, Bend lies along the eastern edge of the Cascade Range. Something of a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, Bend sits about 163 miles southeast of Portland and about 128 miles east of Eugene.

Metal Building in Tillamook County, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Tillamook County, Oregon, in late February of 2016.

Boasting bright polar white paint and standing 75’x100’x16’, the structure is now used as a storage facility for the Nestucca Valley Athletic Supporters. The building is two-sided with sheeting applied along the front side wall and rear end wall, and the rear end wall also has a rigid frame to create a clear-span entry and exit area. Overhead is an exceedingly durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, and additionally the steel building features include a wind speed of 120 mph and a snow load of 25 lbs. These additions were made to maximize the structure’s durability with regard to the typical climate patterns characteristic of greater Tillamook County.

A county in northwestern Oregon, Tillamook County is situated about 22 miles from Wheeler and about 15 miles from Beaver.

Steel Building in Sweet Home, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Sweet Home, Oregon, in late January of 2015.

Now used as a shop, the building is constructed from premium Nucor Building Systems components and stands 50’x60’x16’. Overhead a durable galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch was installed, and inside are (5) framed openings of varying sizes. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening and (2) 3070 walk doors for easy user entry and access.

In consideration of the Sweet Home area’s typical climate, which is characterized by warm winters and cool, relatively dry summers, the metal shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 95 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

A city of about 9,000, Sweet Home is a part of northwestern Oregon’s Linn County and is known for its close proximity to lakes, rivers and the Cascade Mountains. The city sits about 51 miles outside Salem and 44 miles from Eugene.

Now a shop, the steel building is crafted from high-end components from Nucor Building Systems. It is 110’x100’x20’ in size and is covered overhead with an Equipment Storage roof with a 2:12 roof pitch.

In consideration of the weather and climate patterns characteristic of the Winchester area, which is prone to relatively mild conditions but some substantial rainfall, the metal shop building is engineered with a high wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

An unincorporated community located in Douglas County in western Oregon, Winchester sits about four miles north of the Umpqua River. The community sits about 105 miles outside Medford and 72 miles from Eugene.

Large Metal Building in Shedd, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this striking metal building for a buyer in Shedd, Oregon, in February of 2011.

The massive and low-maintenance pre-engineered metal building stands 110’x300’x18’, and is now used as a shop by Oak Park Farms, a Shedd-based provider of agricultural services. The steel building is comprised of Nucor Building Systems components, and is covered by a Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch.

Shedd is considered an unincorporated community, and is located within Linn County, in western Oregon. Once a popular stagecoach stop, the community of Shedd is located about 18 miles outside the City of Lebanon and roughly 15 miles outside the City of Corvallis.

Agricultural Metal Building in Salem, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building to the owner of Save On Transport trucking company in Salem, Oregon.

The Graco-brand building is for agricultural use.  Metal Building Outlet helped him save money by arranging for him to pick up the building directly from the manufacture. The 100’x120’x20′ steel building has a galvalume roof with blue walls and trim.  The building has (2) 12’x15′ framed openings.

Salem is the capital of Oregon and is in both Polk and Marion Counties. Salem is a center of agricultural distribution located about 50 miles from Portland and 65 miles from Eugene.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building for a buyer in Drewsey, Oregon in mid August of 2014.

Now used as a shop, the building is constructed from Nucor Building Systems components. It has a finished size of 60’x100’x21’, and is topped with a Galvalume roof, with a 1:12 roof pitch.

In consideration of Drewsey’s seasonal snowfall and occasionally strong winds, the prefabricated steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 110 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

Drewsey, Oregon is an unincorporated community located along the middle fork of the Malheur River, in Harney County, in east-central Oregon. Drewsey is about 174 miles from the City of Bend and 161 miles outside Baker City.

Metal Building in Junction City, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Junction City, Oregon in March, 2011.  This Nucor building is used as hay storage for Agricultural Drainage Corporation in Lane County. It is located less than half an hour from Eugene and Corvallis.

This steel shop is 125’x100’x22’ and has a galvalume 1:12 pitched roof.  The owner of this building purchased the sheeting locally.  The building has a wind load of 90 MPH and a ground snow load of 15 PSF. The customer also purchased several doors for another building.
