Now used as a shop area by the building owner, the durable, highly functional metal building is crafted from premium-grade components from Nucor Building Systems and stands 60’x60’x14’ in size. Set atop of the steel building is a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 roof pitch.
In consideration of the typical climate and weather patterns characteristic of Macedonia, a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 25 lbs. were included in the building at the time of construction. Iowa engineer-stamped drawings and Iowa engineer-stamped anchor bolt plans were also supplied by Metal Building Outlet as part of this project.

The building boasts (1) large 25’x15’ framed opening, and it also features a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 35 lbs. These inclusions were made in consideration of the typical weather and climate patterns of the Lorimor area.

Now used as a shop, the building is crafted of components from Nucor Building Systems. It stands 70’x100’x18’ and is covered by a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. The shop boasts (14) doors and windows in total, including (2) 3070 walk doors, (2) 20’x16’ openings and (10) additional 3030 windows. To ensure strength and protection from Iowa’s elements year-round, the building was constructed with a wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 25 lbs.

Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, the attractive and energy-efficient metal building boasts a finished size of 40’x80’x16’. Covering it and protecting the interior is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and inside the building are a total of (8) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (5) 4’x3’ openings and (1) 3070 opening housing (1) 3070 walk door designed for easy building user access. Also included in this project are 4” of Wainscot paneling and gutters and downspouts to help divert water off the roof and away from the building.
To reduce the building’s energy bills while enhancing interior comfort and minimizing outside noise, R-19 metal building insulation is installed in the roof, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included with respect for the climate and weather patterns typically seen in the area.
