Upon completion, this metal building serves as the apricot processing facility and the heart of this unique Californian family farm.

Overhead, protecting the interior of the building against the elements, is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch.
Additional attributes include (2) framed openings; (1) 10’x10’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ roll-up door and (1) 3040 opening featuring (1) 3040 walk-through door. In consideration of the weather conditions and variable wind patterns commonly experienced throughout Modesto and the surrounding region, a wind speed rating of 115 mph serves as an additional feature.

Constructed from premium-grade components, the low maintenance, energy-efficient buildings boast black rust-colored paint and a complementing brown roof. Building A stands 40’x50’x10’ in size and its roof has a varied pitch, while Building B, a lean-to-only roof structure, stands 8’x50’x9’4” and has a 1:12 roof pitch. Also included in this metal building project are (13) framed openings varying in size and function. These include (3) 3030 single-slope openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening, (8) 3040 windows and (1) 4070 door.
To reduce energy costs for the building while improving inside comfort and noise control, R-13 insulation was included in Building A’s roof and walls during construction. The building also features a wind speed of 110 mph, an addition that was made to boost durability with respect to the climate and weather patterns common throughout Morongo Valley and the surrounding region.
