Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building for a customer located in Daphne, Alabama, in late May of 2016.

Both exceedingly durable and energy efficient, the building boasts saddle tan-colored paint and stands 30’x60’x12’ once fully erect. Its roof is light stone in color, has a 1:12 roof pitch and is made of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal. Inside the steel building are (6) framed openings, which include (2) 3070 openings holding (2) 3070 steel wind-rated lock doors with lever locks and (4) 4030 windows to maximize the presence of natural sunlight inside.

The building project also includes an insulation package. Installed within the structure’s roof and walls is R-19 metal building insulation, which dramatically reduces energy bills while helping maintain consistent temperatures throughout the year. Finally, the building also features a high wind speed of 160 mph, an inclusion made in consideration of Daphne’s typical weather patterns.

Located in southwestern Alabama’s Baldwin County along the eastern shores of Mobile Bay, Daphne is situated about 21 miles outside Magnolia Springs and 18 miles outside Prichard.

Crafted from premium-grade components supplied by Nucor Building Systems, the building stands 40’x80’x20’ and is now used as a church. Overhead is a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch.

To maximize energy efficiency and minimize related costs, the building has R-19 insulation in its roof and R-13 insulation in its walls. In addition to enhancing the building’s energy efficiency, the insulation helps minimize outside noise while improving interior comfort for building users. In consideration of the Foley area’s typical climate conditions, the building boasts a high wind speed of 140 mph.

Now an operational shop, the metal building stands 50’x75’x20’, and is crafted from Nucor Building Systems components and topped by a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. It features (4) framed openings, which include (3) that are 14’x16’ in size and (1) walk door for easy user access.

Waverly experiences considerable rainfall throughout the year, with an average of 55 inches falling annually. With this and the typical climate patterns of the region in consideration, the steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 100 mph and a snow load of 3.5 lbs.

Saddle tan in color and comprised of top-of-the-line steel components, the shop boasts a rugged, long-lasting Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch overhead, which guards against corrosion while protecting the building’s interior from the elements.
