Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) prefabricated steel buildings for a buyer in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, in January of 2016.

Boasting bright polar white trim and now serving as a warehouse facility, the (2) buildings are of equal size, with both standing 120’x200’x20’. Both are crafted from premium-quality steel components, and they are covered and protected overhead by hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roofs. Both buildings’ roofs feature 4:12 roof pitches.

With respect to the typical climate and weather patterns typically seen throughout the region, both buildings feature wind speeds of 115 mph. A small city located within Baja California, Mexico and a part of the San Diego-Tijuana metropolitan area, Tecate is an alternative entry point to Tijuana for crossing the border between the United States and Mexico. The city sits about 65 miles outside Rosarito and about 49 miles from Tijuana.

Steel Building in Cameroon, West Africa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Cameroon, West Africa, in November of 2013.

Light stone in color, the low-maintenance building is now used as a shop by United Textile Group, a clothing supplier. The large and spacious building stands 200’x470’x22.5’ in size and is protected overhead by a durable galvalume steel roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch.

The Building features include (34) 3’x10’ translucent panels and (9) additional framed openings, among them (3) 14’x14’ openings and (6) 3070 walk doors for convenient user entry and access. In consideration of the typical climate of Cameroon, the shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 90 mph.

Cameroon, or the Republic of Cameroon, is a central African country bordered by Nigeria, Chad, Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic. It lies about 744 miles from Bamako, Mali, and 205 miles outside the country of Burkina Faso.

Metal Building on the Caribbean Island of St. Maarten

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten in February of 2015.

Now used as a medical clinic, the building is 25’x40’x11.5’ in size and is covered by a durable galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside are a total of (4) framed openings, including (1) that houses a 20-gauge 3070 walk door, (1) 8’x8’ framed opening and (2) 3030 doors.

Due to St. Maarten’s island location in the Caribbean Sea, the steel building is engineered with a high wind speed of 170 mph.

Part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, St. Maarten occupies one-half of a Caribbean island, the other being St. Martin, an overseas collectivity of France. Known for its stunning scenery, crystal-clear waters and broad recreational opportunities, St. Maarten is a popular tourist and cruise ship destination.

Metal Building in Costa Rica

Metal Building Outlet supplied this building in the Central American country of Costa Rica in May of 2015.

Shipped through Houston, Texas, the prefabricated building features striking polar white paint and is now used as a shop area by the buyer. It stands 38’x43’x14’ in size and is covered by a hard-wearing Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Also included are (2) framed openings, (1) 17’x12’ in size and (1) enclosing a 3070 walk door.

In consideration of the tropical climate of Costa Rica and the county’s distinctive weather patterns, a wind speed rating of 90 mph was included during construction.

Known for its beaches, volcanoes, rainforests and strong biodiversity, Costa Rica is a popular Central American tourist and cultural destination. It is bordered by Nicaragua, Panama, Ecuador, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.

Metal Building in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada.  This Nucor metal building was purchased in November 2013 to be used as a riding arena. Located in Rocky View County in southwest Alberta about 60 km from Calgary and Cremona.

It is a large building with the following dimensions 27.4x61x5.8m (90’x200’x19’) with a 1:12 pitched roof.  There is a large overhead door (3.66×4.27m) allowing easy access to the building.

In order to meet climacteric demands, this equestrian arena is rated for a .5 kPa and snow loads of 1.0 kPa for the roof.

Steel Building in Starbuck, Manitoba, Canada

Metal Building Outlet supplied these steel buildings in Starbuck, Manitoba, Canada in July, 2013.  Only about 40 kilometers from Winnipeg and Assiniboine, these buildings are located in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald.  The buildings are used for equipment storage.

With finished sizes of 100’x200’x20’ and 40’x50’x35’, these Nucor metal storage buildings are spacious and practical.  Each is free-standing and was ordered as frame only; the sheeting was ordered by the owner from another supplier.  The roof of each building is insulated with heavy-duty and highly energy efficient R-20 insulation.

There are several doors of varying sizes used on these buildings: (4) 20’x18’ overhead doors, (1) 16’x18’ overhead door, (1) 27’x18’ overhead door and (3) 3’x7’ walk doors.

Steel Building in Nassau, Bahamas

These three Wedgecor brand metal buildings were purchased through Metal Building Outlet and are now erected in Nassau, the capital and commercial center of the Bahamas. Nassau is about three miles from Saunders Beach and three miles from Paradise Island.

One is a 40’x60’x12’ structure used as a shop for Saunders Trucking Company. The second is a 30’x50’x10’ used for the company’s storage. The third 50’x80’x12’ structure is rented out as commercial real estate by the owner.

All buildings were constructed in a factory in Jamestown, North Dakota. They were shipped to Miami, Florida then made their way to their final destination in Nassau via Port Miami, formerly known as the Dante B. Fascell Port of Miami.

Metal Building in Cassada Gardens, Antigua

Metal Building Outlet steel building supplier for Cassada Gardens, Antigua and surrounding areas: This 60’ x 100’ x 16’ Garco metal building was delivered to Cassada Gardens, Saint George, Antigua, in May, 2013. Cassada Gardens is located two miles from Cedar Grove and three miles from Dutchman Bay. Other nearby cities, towns and places include Paynter, Saint Marks Village, Saint Mark’s and Painter Village, and the closest major cities to Cassada Gardens are La Romana, Cumana, San Pedro De Macoris and Maturin.

Light stone in color with a polar white roof this durable, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing structure serves as the owner’s storage facility. It was constructed with two 12’ x 14’ doors.  The steel building has a wind load rating of 130 mph which is due to the Atlantic hurricane season that has the potential to wreak havoc on Antigua from the beginning of June through the end of November.

The building owner picked up the structure in Houston, Texas, where it was top-loaded by a crane into a 40’ container. The container was then transported to Galveston, Texas before shipping to its final destination in Antigua. Top-loading is a preferable method when shipping internationally primarily because the materials are handled only once from pickup at the factory to delivery at the jobsite.

Metal Building in Belize City, Belize

This 50’ x 120’ x 18’ metal building is the most recent of five purchased through Metal Building Outlet that now function as storage and manufacturing structures  for Corrugated Pipe Limited in Belize City, Belize.

All five metal buildings are arch-style Quonset huts some storing the company’s raw materials and finished products while others are used as facilities for manufacturing and fabricating pipes. The Mississippi-based customer picked up the buildings in North Dakota before shipping them to Belize City via the Port of Houston in Texas.

Belize City is the largest in the Central American nation of Belize it is located about 40 miles from Dangria and 49 miles from San Jose. The strength and durability of metal buildings is highly desirable for many residents and businesses in Belize City.
