Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered steel workshop building for a client in Washougal, Washington.

Hardwearing, economical and built to last, the building boasts premium-quality steel construction and a finished, fully erect size of 50’x100’x16’. Desert Sand in color, it now functions as a workshop, while overhead, a robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof guards against the elements while offering a 1:12 roof pitch.

Distributed throughout the versatile workshop, which features an open, clear-span design, are (5) framed openings ranging in terms of size and function, among them (2) 16’x14’ openings, (1) 12’x14’ opening and (2) 3070 walk door openings. Additional accommodations added with regard for the climate of Washougal and the building codes currently in place in the area include a 135-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load.

A part of southwestern Washington’s Clark County, the city of Washougal falls within the Columbia River Gorge, along the Washougal River. The community sits about 18 miles east of Vancouver and about 23 miles outside Portland, Oregon.

Used for a variety of different purposes, the building features premium-quality steel construction and a fully erect size of 40’x30’x14’. It boasts an unobstructed, clear-span design and an eye-catching, Ash Gray exterior, while a Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead, providing a solid layer of protection against the elements and corrosion.

The multipurpose metal building boasts (2) framed openings that allow for easily accessibility, and these include (1) 3070 walk door opening and (1) 10’x10’ opening. The building also features several accommodations made in compliance with local building code requirements and in consideration of the climate patterns typical across Spanish Fork and the surrounding landscape, among them a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 50-pound snow load.

Metal Building Outlet secured this prefabricated steel shop building for a customer in Lake George, Colorado, in late April of 2019.

Versatile, attractive and easy to maintain, the building is comprised of heavy-duty, premium-quality steel components, and it now functions as a shop. Once raised, it boasts a finished size of 44’x24’x12’, and it features a clear-span interior that frees up more space to work by eliminating interior trusses and obstructions.

The steel shop features a striking, Copper-colored exterior and a complementing Evergreen-colored roof with a 4:12 pitch, while (4) framed openings serve as additional shop customizations. Included are (3) 8’x10’ openings enclosing (3) 8’x10’ doors and (1) 3070 walk door opening. Because the Lake George area often sees considerable seasonal snowfall, there are stringent building codes governing construction in the area, and the shop features a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 120-pound snow load in order to accommodate them.

Situated a few miles north of the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, the unincorporated community of Lake George falls within Colorado’s Park County. The community lies roughly 40 miles northwest of Colorado Springs and about 13 miles from Divide.
