Metal Building Outlet sourced this premanufactured steel workshop building on behalf of a customer in Templeton, Massachusetts, in March of 2019.

Economical, low-maintenance and multifunctional, the building is currently in use as a shop. Once raised, it stands 24’x30’x10’ in size, and it features an obstruction-free clear-span that maximizes usable space. Comprised of top-of-the-line steel components, the building stands strong in the face of pests, strong winds and the heavy snow that often comes with a New England winter, and a rugged Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, providing reliable protection from the elements.

The steel workshop features (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed door opening, and it also features several customizations made in compliance with local building codes and in consideration of regional climate characteristics. Such accommodations include a high, 65-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

Metal Building Outlet supplied these (4) preconstructed steel buildings for a buyer in Denton, Maryland, in late April of 2019.

Delivering unrivaled strength and durability, the (4) buildings together serve as a shop, providing ample room for building users to work, store goods or otherwise utilize the covered, all-season space. All (4) structures have attractive, Ash Grey exteriors and rugged Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches overhead, but they all differ in size.

The first building, once raised, boasts a finished size of 20’x220’x8.5’, while the second structure stands 30’x170’x8.5’. The third steel workshop stands 30’x110’x8.5’ in size once erect, while the fourth and final building stands 10’x170’x8.5’. Distributed among the (4) metal shops are (106) framed openings, which include (84) 9’x7’ openings enclosing (84) 9’x7’ doors and (22) 4’x7’ openings, each enclosing one of (22) 4’x7’ doors.

The steel storage building features a broad clear-span, which maximizes usable floor space, and it also features (2) framed openings; (1) 10’x12’ opening and (1) 4070 walk door opening. Additional notable customizations include a high-performance insulation package, with R-30 insulation installed in the storage building’s roof and R25 insulation installed within the walls, and several enhancements made in compliance with the building codes currently in place at the address. Such features include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 90-pound snow load.

Its wide clear-span and high clearance make it an ideal environment for working or storing goods or inventory, while a Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch provides ample protection from the Florida elements from above.

The shop itself is comprised of rugged, premium-quality steel components, and distributed throughout it are (10) framed openings. Included are (5) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (5 3070 walk doors and (5) 14’x14’ overhead openings, each housing one of (5) 14’x14’ overhead doors. A high, 140-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional feature added in consideration of the tropical storm activity common throughout the region as well as the building code requirements in place at the address.
