This steel warehouse was supplied by Metal Building Outlet in Convent, Louisiana.  The Nucor steel building had dimensions of 50’x120’x16’ and a roof pitch of 1:12.  In addition, this steel building was rated to withstand a wind load of 120mph due to high winds associated with tropical storms in that specific region of Louisiana.

Convent is located approximately 57 miles from New Orleans, LA and 39 miles from Thibodaux, LA.  The roof only structure was a cost-effective option for storing farm equipment.

Steel Building in Wayland, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this preconstructed metal building in Wayland, Michigan.

Extremely energy efficient and impressively easy to maintain, the building boasts a finished size of 63’x192’x32’. Crafted from high-end steel components, the structure is protected overhead by a corrosion-resistant, hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch.

The metal building features (23) framed openings varying broadly in size, among them (2) 16’x16’ openings, (4) 14’x14’ openings, (1) 10’x12’ opening, (1) 8’x9’ opening, (7) 3070 openings and, finally, (8) 4’x4’ framed openings. To keep energy bills low in consideration of Michigan’s variable temperatures and frequently long, snowy winters, the building features a high-performance insulation package. In its roof, it contains high R-value, R-32 metal building insulation, while its walls feature R-19 insulation.

Additional building attributes include a high snow load of 50 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph, accommodations made in consideration of the weather and climate patterns characteristic of the Wayland area. Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Liberal, Kansas, in March of 2015.

Now used as a shop by Friesen Recycling, the low-maintenance and energy-efficient Garco Building Systems-brand building boasts light stone-colored paint and is covered by a durable Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. It stands 45’x70’x16’ in size, and has (2) framed openings to ensure easy accessibility. These include (1) 12’x14’ insulated overhead sectional garage door and (1) 3070 walk door.

To keep heating and cooling costs low and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent year-round, the building was constructed with high-performing R-13 insulation in both the roof and walls. Liberal and its surrounding areas experience considerable temperature variation throughout the year and light annual snowfall in the wintertime, and with this in mind, a wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 15 lbs. were factored in during construction.

Located within southwestern Kansas’s Seward County, Liberal sits about 82 miles from Dodge City and 67 miles from Garden City.

Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, the attractive and energy-efficient metal building boasts a finished size of 40’x80’x16’. Covering it and protecting the interior is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, and inside the building are a total of (8) framed openings varying in terms of size and purpose. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (5) 4’x3’ openings and (1) 3070 opening housing (1) 3070 walk door designed for easy building user access. Also included in this project are 4” of Wainscot paneling and gutters and downspouts to help divert water off the roof and away from the building.

To reduce the building’s energy bills while enhancing interior comfort and minimizing outside noise, R-19 metal building insulation is installed in the roof, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included with respect for the climate and weather patterns typically seen in the area. Located within southwestern Iowa’s Pottawattamie County, the city of Crescent lies about 126 miles from Des Moines and about 10 miles outside Council Bluffs.

Featuring light stone paint and R-4” WMP-VR facing material in the roof to create an air and vapor barrier, the durable, low-maintenance building is now used as a shop area by the buyer. Constructed using top-quality components from Nucor Building Systems, the finished building stands 40’x60’x14’ in size and is covered by a Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch.

Also featured are (2) framed openings, (1) of which holds a 3070 walk door, and the other, a 12’x12’ insulated overhead door. In consideration of the Topeka area’s highly variable climate conditions and occasionally strong thunderstorm activity, a wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 14 lbs. were included at the time of construction.
