Steel Building in Cadillac, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building for a customer in Cadillac, Michigan, in early February of 2020.

Rugged, reliable and engineered specifically for use in Michigan’s variable climate, the building is 60’x150’x16’ in size and now functions as a shop. High overhead clearance makes it particularly versatile, while a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant roof comprised of Galvalume steel paneling offers protection from above and boasts a subtle 1:12 roof pitch.

Offering easy access inside the metal workshop are (4) framed openings, which include (2) 12’x14’ overhead door openings and (2) 3070 walk door openings. A high, 60-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional features added in adherence to local building codes, and in consideration of the climate characteristics of Cadillac and the surrounding area.

Located on Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, the city of Cadillac is the county seat of Wexford County. The community lies about 50 miles north-northwest of Traverse City and about 50 miles east of Manistee.
