Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel building in Livermore, California, in May of 2017.
Crafted from top-of-the-line steel materials, the structure boasts a finished size of 60’x120’x18’, and it now serves storage purposes. A rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the interior of the building against the elements, and the structure also features (13) framed openings distributed throughout. These include (6) 14’x14’ openings, (2) 3’4”x7’ openings and (5) 6040 windows.
In consideration of the Livermore area’s relatively mild, Mediterranean climate, a wind speed rating of 110 mph serves as another storage building feature. Located within California’s Alameda County, Livermore is situated along the eastern edge of the San Francisco Bay Area. A part of the Tri-Valley area, which includes the Amador, Livermore and San Ramon Valleys, the city of Livermore lies about 43 miles outside San Francisco and roughly 19 miles from Fremont.

Intended for use as a storage shed, the building features rugged, long-lasting steel construction, and once erect, it stands 32’x20’x20’ in size. High overhead clearance makes the metal shed suitable for storing goods in an array of different sizes, while its clear-span design eliminates interior obstructions and maximizes usable storage space inside.
The pre-engineered steel shed features a Burnished Slate-colored exterior, while a robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead. The metal shed also boasts several customizations that better equip it for the Illinois elements, including a wind load of 115 mph and a snow load of 43 pounds.
Illinois’ most-populated city, Chicago is a part of northeastern Illinois’ Cook County. The city sits about 35 miles outside Naperville and about 22 miles outside Downers Grove.
