Premanufactured Metal Building in Winston, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet sourced this preconstructed steel building for a customer in Winston, Oregon, in May of 2019.

Versatile, economical and energy efficient, the building is constructed using top-quality steel parts, and it stands 40’x80’x18’ in size. Used for a variety of purposes, the building features a broad clear-span and high clearance that enhances functionality, while a rugged Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead, offering optimal protection from above.

Key features and customizations include (4) framed openings, among them (3) 3070 walk door openings and (1) 10’x10’ opening. The multipurpose metal building also has R-13 fiberglass insulation installed within its roof and walls, which makes the structure better-suited for year-round use while helping building users stay comfortable and interior temperatures consistent.

Additional attributes added in compliance with local building code requirements, and in consideration of the typical climate characteristics of the region, include a 120-mph wind speed rating and a snow load of 25 pounds. Part of southwestern Oregon’s Douglas County, the city of Winston sits about 78 miles south of Eugene and about 75 miles outside Coos Bay.

Steel Building in Sweet Home, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Sweet Home, Oregon, in late January of 2015.

Now used as a shop, the building is constructed from premium Nucor Building Systems components and stands 50’x60’x16’. Overhead a durable galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch was installed, and inside are (5) framed openings of varying sizes. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening and (2) 3070 walk doors for easy user entry and access.

In consideration of the Sweet Home area’s typical climate, which is characterized by warm winters and cool, relatively dry summers, the metal shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 95 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

A city of about 9,000, Sweet Home is a part of northwestern Oregon’s Linn County and is known for its close proximity to lakes, rivers and the Cascade Mountains. The city sits about 51 miles outside Salem and 44 miles from Eugene.

Now a shop, the steel building is crafted from high-end components from Nucor Building Systems. It is 110’x100’x20’ in size and is covered overhead with an Equipment Storage roof with a 2:12 roof pitch.

In consideration of the weather and climate patterns characteristic of the Winchester area, which is prone to relatively mild conditions but some substantial rainfall, the metal shop building is engineered with a high wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

An unincorporated community located in Douglas County in western Oregon, Winchester sits about four miles north of the Umpqua River. The community sits about 105 miles outside Medford and 72 miles from Eugene.

Agricultural Metal Building in Salem, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building to the owner of Save On Transport trucking company in Salem, Oregon.

The Graco-brand building is for agricultural use.  Metal Building Outlet helped him save money by arranging for him to pick up the building directly from the manufacture. The 100’x120’x20′ steel building has a galvalume roof with blue walls and trim.  The building has (2) 12’x15′ framed openings.

Salem is the capital of Oregon and is in both Polk and Marion Counties. Salem is a center of agricultural distribution located about 50 miles from Portland and 65 miles from Eugene.

Steel Building in Drewsey, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building for a buyer in Drewsey, Oregon in mid August of 2014.

Now used as a shop, the building is constructed from Nucor Building Systems components. It has a finished size of 60’x100’x21’, and is topped with a Galvalume roof, with a 1:12 roof pitch.

In consideration of Drewsey’s seasonal snowfall and occasionally strong winds, the prefabricated steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 110 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

Drewsey, Oregon is an unincorporated community located along the middle fork of the Malheur River, in Harney County, in east-central Oregon. Drewsey is about 174 miles from the City of Bend and 161 miles outside Baker City.
