Steel Shop Building in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in early November of 2019.

Currently used as a shop, the metal building offers unmatched structural integrity, keeping occupants and assets inside protected from the elements and other potential hazards. Once raised, the shop stands 40’x80’x15’, offering high overhead clearance and a space-maximizing clear span. The roof of the metal shop has a 3:12 pitch and is comprised of rugged Galvalume sheeting that helps protect against corrosion.

Making the shop easily accessible are (5) framed openings, which include (2) 10’x13’ overhead door openings and (3) 3’4”x7’2” openings. A 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load keep the shop compliant with applicable building codes while making it better-suited for Wyoming’s variable climate.

Wyoming’s state capital, Cheyenne is a part of Laramie County, in the southeastern part of the state. The city sits about 50 miles outside Laramie and about 45 miles outside Fort Collins, Colorado.
