Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-fabricated steel building to a customer in Morrison, Colorado, in mid-May, 2014. Constructed from components supplied by Nucor Building Systems, this 60’x50’x16’ metal building with a Galvalume roof now serves as a shop.
To accommodate Colorado’s highly variable weather patterns and considerable snowfall, the building was built with a wind speed of 130 mph and a ground snow load of 78 lbs. Interior features include (1) insulated 12’x14’ door, (1) 3070 walk door and (2) 16’x10’ insulated doors, for a total of (4) framed openings. The steel building also has R-19 insulation in both its roof and its walls, to help maintain a consistent and comfortable interior temperature year-round.
