Metal Garage Building in Georgetown, Kentucky

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this pre-engineered metal garage building in Georgetown, Kentucky, in early October of 2019.

Insulated and exceedingly durable, the building currently undergoes use as a garage. Once erect, the Charcoal-colored metal garage stands 30’x40’x12’ in size, and it features a broad, clear-span design that frees up as much interior space as possible for vehicles. Covering the owner’s automotive assts from above is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch, and (2) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x10’ overhead opening and (1) 3’x7’ walk door opening enclosing (1) 3’x7’ walk door, make the garage easily accessible for owners and automobiles.

Noteworthy garage features include an insulation package, with a layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation installed within the steel garage’s roof and another layer of R-13 insulation in the walls. A snow load of 30 pounds and a wind speed rating of 115 mph are additional customizations made to keep the structure in compliance with appropriate building code requirements.

Part of Scott County, in northern Kentucky, the city of Georgetown is home to Georgetown College. The community lies roughly 15 miles north of Lexington and about 18 miles east of Frankfort.
