Metal Shop Buildings in Cody, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet secured these (2) pre-engineered metal shop buildings for a customer in Cody, Wyoming, in mid-September of 2019.

Energy efficient, affordable and easy and quick to erect in comparison to other construction methods, these (2) steel buildings offer unparalleled durability, and they together function as a shop. Both buildings stand 50’x75’x16’ in size, and both boast broad clear spans that make the most of usable space and high overhead clearance that allows for the use of any number of different types of equipment.

Ash Gray in color, the buildings both have rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 1:12 pitches overhead, and each has one of (2) 12’x14’ framed openings that make the shops easily accessible for users. A high-performance insulation package comprised of R-35 insulation in the roof and R-25 insulation in the walls is another key feature, and it keeps energy bills manageable while making the interior of the shops more comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures.

Other supplemental features include a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 pounds; inclusions added in adherence to local building codes, and in consideration of the Cody’s areas distinct seasonal climate changes. Located in northwestern Wyoming, the city of Cody is a part of Park County. The community sits about 24 miles southwest of Powell, Wyoming, and about 35 miles west of Emblem.
