Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Chelsea, Michigan.  This building is about an hour from both Lansing and Detroit in Washtenaw County in southeastern Michigan.  Used as a riding arena, since December, 2011, this Nucor building showcases the versatility and affordability of metal equestrian arenas.

With a generous size of 80’x180’x18’, this arena is spacious enough to meet the needs of the owners.  The roof features a 6:12 pitch and has a snow load capacity of 17.5 PSF. The arena is rated for wind loads up to 90 MPH, making it sturdy for the climate of southern Michigan.

There are several doors and framed openings on this building.  Of these, there are eight overhead doors (2 – 12’x12’ and 6 – 16’x12’), a 3’x7’ walk door, and 12 – 16’x4’.  Giving the interior of the arena natural light are 6 – 4’x5’ windows.

This steel warehouse was supplied by Metal Building Outlet in Convent, Louisiana.  The Nucor steel building had dimensions of 50’x120’x16’ and a roof pitch of 1:12.  In addition, this steel building was rated to withstand a wind load of 120mph due to high winds associated with tropical storms in that specific region of Louisiana.

Convent is located approximately 57 miles from New Orleans, LA and 39 miles from Thibodaux, LA.  The roof only structure was a cost-effective option for storing farm equipment.

Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) premanufactured steel buildings for a customer in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Now available for lease, the (2) durable, easy-to-maintain metal buildings feature attractive, ash gray paint, and they both stand 40’x162’x20’ in size. Overhead, protecting against corrosion and the elements, are rugged, resilient Galvalume metal roofs with 0.5:12 pitches, and the buildings themselves are comprised of robust, top-quality steel components.

Light stone in color with an eye-catching green roof and a 1:12 roof pitch, the Michigan metal building stands 30’x40’x16’, and is used as a storage area by FDM Contracting, Inc., a Shelby Township-based general contracting company. Constructed using Nucor Building Systems components, the building has (1) framed opening, which is 14’x14’ in size.

Shelby Township experiences considerable annual snowfall that trumps national averages, and with the area’s typical climate and weather patterns in mind, the steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 18 lbs.

Located within Oceana County in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, Shelby Township lies about 25 miles from Southfield and 17 miles outside Pontiac.

Steel Building in Shreveport, Louisiana

This forest green Nucor building was supplied by Metal Building Outlet in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The shop measured 50’x100’x18’ it has a roof pitch of 1:12.  The shop was outfitted with two 12’x12’ roll up coil doors and three 3’x7’ walkdoors.  To make the shop a more comfortable working space in Louisiana summers, R-19 roof insulation and R-13 wall insulation was added to the steel building.

Shreveport is located about 111 miles away from Monroe, LA for use as a shop in December of 2011.

Steel Building in Mattawan, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this Arch Quonset Hut for storage on Boothby Farms in Mattawan, Michigan. This building was purchased at a used building sale in November of 2011, and the Galvalume-colored building had never been previously erected.

The structure measured 50’x80’x19’ and came equipped with a framed 24’x14’ double sliding door system. Mattawan is located about 15 miles away from Kalamazoo, MI and around 60 miles away from Grand Rapids, MI. This storage structure was an especially cost-effective solution for a storage unit in rural Michigan.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Manistee, Michigan.

Highly energy efficient, the building is crafted from premium-quality steel components and is now used as a shop. When fully erect, it stands 60’x120’x20’ in size, and it boasts a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the metal shop building are (4) framed openings, which include (1) 16’x16’ opening, (1) 14’x14’ opening and (2) 3070 openings.

Installed in the shop’s roof is high-performance R-19 metal building insulation, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls. The building also features a high snow load of 60 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph. These inclusions were made in consideration of the lake-effect snow often seen throughout the area and the variable weather patterns experienced year-round. A part of Manistee County in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, the city of Manistee is situated about 80 miles outside Muskegon and 66 miles outside Traverse City.

Highly durable and low maintenance by design, the building is warm white in color and boasts a complementing evergreen-colored roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead. Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, it stands 85’x98’x22’ in size and is now used as a shop.
