Steel Buildings in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky

Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) steel buildings to a customer in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, in late April of 2014.

The metal buildings are made of Nucor Building Systems components, and together now serve as a garage. The first of the buildings stands 36’x40’x16’ with a 2:12 roof pitch, while the second stands 24’x40’x20’ and has a 4:12 roof pitch. Both steel buildings feature 3070 framed walk doors to ensure easy access.

Mt. Sterling is known for its hot, humid summers and relatively mild winters, and, as such, the building features a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 14 lbs. per square foot.

Mt. Sterling is located within Montgomery County, in northeastern Kentucky. Considered the principal city of the Mount Sterling Micropolitan Area, Mt. Sterling lies about 17 miles from the Community of Winchester and about 38 miles from the City of Richmond.

Metal Church Building Liberal, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this Nucor-brand metal church building to a customer in Liberal, Kansas in June of 2014.

Red in color with a Galvalume roof and a 1:12 roof pitch, the 40’x40’x16’ pre-engineered steel building now serves as a church. It features a total of (4) framed openings, among them (2) 3070 walk doors and (2) 12’x14’ overhead doors. Given the significant variation in year-round temperatures in Liberal, the building was constructed with R-10 insulation in both the roof and walls. It also has a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 15 lbs.

Intended for use as a church from the outset, Metal Building Outlet provided insulation and doors for the building, in addition to assisting with a city permit.

Liberal is located within Seward County in southwest Kansas. It lies about 67 miles from Garden City and about 82 miles outside of Dodge City.

Metal Building in Charlotte, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal shop building in Charlotte, Iowa, in late March of 2015.

Now used as a shop, the building is crafted of components from Nucor Building Systems. It stands 70’x100’x18’ and is covered by a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. The shop boasts (14) doors and windows in total, including (2) 3070 walk doors, (2) 20’x16’ openings and (10) additional 3030 windows. To ensure strength and protection from Iowa’s elements year-round, the building was constructed with a wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 25 lbs.

Charlotte is a part of eastern Iowa’s Clinton County, near the Illinois border. It sits about 79 miles outside Cedar Rapids and 48 miles from Dubuque.

Agricultural Steel Building in Lincoln, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Lincoln, Kansas.

Now used for agricultural purposes, the energy efficient and light stone-colored structure is crafted from premium-quality steel components. Its Galvalume metal roof resists corrosion and has a 2:12 pitch, and the farm building features (10) framed openings varying in terms of size and function. Included are (2) 24’x14’ openings enclosing (2) 24’x14’ insulated sectional doors, (1) 16’x14’ opening enclosing (1) 16’x14’ insulated sectional door, (1) 12’x12’ opening boasting (1) 12’x12’ insulated sectional door, (1) 10’x10’ opening harboring (1) 10’x10’ insulated sectional door, and, finally, (5) 3070 openings, each equipped with one of (5) 3070 steel walk doors.

To minimize energy bills while enhancing interior comfort for building users, the building boasts R-19 insulation within its roof and R-13 insulation within its walls. Additional accommodations made with respect for the climate and weather patterns commonly experienced throughout Lincoln and the surrounding region include a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 25 lbs.

Metal Building in Cade, Louisiana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building in Cade, Lousiana. This building is located in St. Martin Parrish in southern Louisiana, less than half an hour from both Lafayette and Abbeville.

This building has been used as a personal shop and garage since its purchase in July, 2013. Sturdy Garco components were selected to help this building stand up to the notorious high winds – this garage and shop are rated with a wind load of 110 MPH.

The completed size of this garage/shop is 40’x60’x12’ and the roof is galvalume with a 1:12 pitch. Giving easy access to the spacious interior of this building are five doors. Of the five, four of them are over head doors – two are 12’x10’ and the other two are 10’x10’. The fifth door is a 3’x7’ walk door.

Steel Shop Building in Liberal, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel shop building for a customer in Liberal, Kansas, in early April of 2016.

Made of exceedingly durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal, the building boasts bright polar white trim and is now used as a shop by the owner. The roof, too, is made of rugged, premium-quality Galvalume metal, and it has a 0.5:12 roof pitch. Inside the steel building is (1) 3070 framed opening, which encloses (1) 3070 heavy-duty steel walk door with a lever lock. A wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included in consideration of the variable temperatures and weather patterns characteristic of the greater Liberal area.

Located within south-central Kansas’ Seward County, the city of Liberal lies about 10 miles southwest of the Cimarron River. It is situated about 82 miles from Dodge City and 67 miles outside Garden City.

Metal Building in LaCygne, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building originally for a customer in LaCygne, Kansas in August, 2012. It is located about 65 miles from Fort Scott and 100 miles from Kansas City. The building is used for equipment storage. What makes this building unique is that it ended up being used as a shop in Concord, Arkansas.
