This forest green Nucor building was supplied by Metal Building Outlet in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The shop measured 50’x100’x18’ it has a roof pitch of 1:12.  The shop was outfitted with two 12’x12’ roll up coil doors and three 3’x7’ walkdoors.  To make the shop a more comfortable working space in Louisiana summers, R-19 roof insulation and R-13 wall insulation was added to the steel building.

Shreveport is located about 111 miles away from Monroe, LA for use as a shop in December of 2011.

Steel Building in Mattawan, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this Arch Quonset Hut for storage on Boothby Farms in Mattawan, Michigan. This building was purchased at a used building sale in November of 2011, and the Galvalume-colored building had never been previously erected.

The structure measured 50’x80’x19’ and came equipped with a framed 24’x14’ double sliding door system. Mattawan is located about 15 miles away from Kalamazoo, MI and around 60 miles away from Grand Rapids, MI. This storage structure was an especially cost-effective solution for a storage unit in rural Michigan.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Manistee, Michigan.

Highly energy efficient, the building is crafted from premium-quality steel components and is now used as a shop. When fully erect, it stands 60’x120’x20’ in size, and it boasts a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the metal shop building are (4) framed openings, which include (1) 16’x16’ opening, (1) 14’x14’ opening and (2) 3070 openings.

Installed in the shop’s roof is high-performance R-19 metal building insulation, while R-13 insulation can be found within the walls. The building also features a high snow load of 60 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph. These inclusions were made in consideration of the lake-effect snow often seen throughout the area and the variable weather patterns experienced year-round. A part of Manistee County in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, the city of Manistee is situated about 80 miles outside Muskegon and 66 miles outside Traverse City.

Highly durable and low maintenance by design, the building is warm white in color and boasts a complementing evergreen-colored roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead. Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, it stands 85’x98’x22’ in size and is now used as a shop.
